End Face Milling Machine

The end face milling machine is mainly used for end face milling of box girder, H beam, foundation, valve etc. It can realize automated milling with high efficiency and high precision. The max dimension of the end face of workpiece which can be milled is 1500×1200mm.

Technical features
1. The end face milling machine consists of milling head, lifting pillar, sliding table, lathe bed, mechanical feeding system, electrical control system, rail protective device, cutter etc.

2. The lathe bed of the hydraulic press device adopts welded structure. And it is aging treated integrally after welding.

3. The milling head is the gantry heavy milling head imported from Taiwan. It has the following features: reasonable structure, reliable performance, large range of speed variation, good rigidity, low noise, high efficiency, convenient operation.

4. The sliding table adopts integrated design and manufacturing of superior carbon steel. The structural components are designed according to the intensity of heavy end face milling machine. The welding finished structure will be aging treated and then metal processed, so that it has the following features: compact structure, good rigidity and stability. It can form sliding pair with the lathe bed of which the rail is large rectangle with good load capacity and high guide precision; it also has good lubrication condition. The sliding table is driven by mechanical feed drive system through trapezoid screw nut in order to realize fast forward, work feeding, quick return. The sliding table is equipped with milling head, and drives it to realize milling, resetting and up-and-down motion. The operation cycle of sliding table is controlled by mechanical drive system and electrical control system.

5. The protection unit of the rail adopts retractable, telescopic form steel plate cover which is well sealed and has good heat dispersion and long service life. There is a peephole on the fixed protection cover which can be used to monitor the lubrication situation and cleanness of the rail or add lubricating oil to the rail of lathe bed. The peephole is equipped with a small cap which can be used to cover the peephole after use. Because this machine adopts low speed travel, so it adopts concentrated mechanical lubrication device. The lubricant pump is installed at the right rear side of the feeding unit. It can supply oil to the rail for lubrication at regular time and in a fixed quantity according to requirements when the lathe is running, so that it is quite convenient and fast.
